Dr. Adam J. Lorenzetti specializes in open and arthroscopic Shoulder, Elbow, and Sports Medicine surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University with a B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering with a dual major in Biomedical Engineering graduating magna cum laude in 2004. He received his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2009. Dr. Lorenzetti completed his orthopaedic residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in 2014. After residency, he completed an ASES (American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons) accredited fellowship in Tampa, FL at Florida Orthopaedic Institute, training under world renowned physicians: Dr. Mark A. Frankle and Dr. Mark A. Mighell.
As an expert in the field of shoulder surgery, Dr. Lorenzetti has published several book chapters, as well as several PubMed reference journal articles regarding shoulder surgery. Dr. Lorenzetti specializes in shoulder reconstruction including shoulder arthroscopy (rotator cuff repairs, instability, frozen shoulder, etc.) and Anatomic and Reverse Shoulder Replacements, as well as elbow surgery and reconstruction.
Dr. Lorenzetti is a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Society and Arthroscopy Association of North America and the Virginia Orthopaedic Society. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. Orthopaedic Society.
